HELLO ALL!!!!

 

Its me, the one and only DeMo, and if you're reading this I want to first thank you for taking the time to read this, next I want to ask you all to excuse the mess, things are still very much being worked on currently. But the point of this is that I want to welcome you to thatdemoguy. My own personal space on this world wide web. A sounding board. Just a place for me to say what I want and indulge myself in a little self importance.

Seriously though, this is just a little labor of love. My love for writing. My love for self expression. My love for my hobbies. My love for feeling connected to those around me, and that’s all of you.  So this meager webpage is just as much for all of you as it is for me.  But what exactly am I going to do here?

 

Well, I’m going to be doing quite a bit. I’m going to be giving my insight and opinion on the things that we all know and love. Be it music, movies, and of course videogames. I have been fortunate to forge partnerships with fellow artists, honing their craft as musicians and in the YouTube world. I have also been blessed to have certain avenues of opportunity opened up for me. I know that sounds extremely reticent but trust me, there's nothing dubious about what I have in store.

 

Mind you, I am just ONE MAN, who's also a father with a full time job, so I won't be able to be on top of every news story in the world. This is definitely not the one stop shop for all the things, but I will say that when I do focus on something or I have a project that I am working on, I promise to give you all the best that I have. I would like to try to do an opinion piece weekly, and a featured article monthly, depending on my own personal schedule. So I implore you all to bear with me, as this grows, I would gladly welcome contributors.

 

As far as my opinion pieces and articles go, especially those about games, I will tell you that I will NEVER EVER do what I would consider a review. I’m not going to give an arbitrary numerical value to a product, nor will I outright tell you how to spend your own hard earned money. I will strive to give you my 100% honest opinion on whatever is in front of me. I'm not here to shill any products. I’m not being paid by any corporate entities, so no worries there. If I think something stinks, I will gladly say that.

 

I will also occasionally be dropping my signature REAL TALK with DeMo blogs here. For those who have followed me for awhile, you know what to expect. But for those new to "me", REAL TALK is when I take a topic and I really open up on it. These typically involve heavy social issues that can and will offend some. For this I cannot apologize, so please read these at your discretion and risk.

All in all, I’m extremely excited to finally be doing this, and doing it with AND FOR all of you. I appreciate you all and I look forward to seeing what year 1 of thatdemoguy brings.
