Telltale Games dropped a bit of a bomb on us with this teaser trailer for the next entry into their stellar series of games based on The Walking Dead. Not a whole lot about setting or plot can be guesstimated from this brief teaser but there are some very fine details that can be seen and are very important to make note of.

First off is that "Season 3" was not placed in the official title at the end of the trailer. Though this is the continuation of the series. This leads me to belive that these games are planned out for a long time from now and that they could eventually be branching into the comics or even the shows. 

 

We are once again following the (mis)adventures of series protagonist Clementine, who is obviously older and more experienced. She still has her trademark hat and is keeping that hair cut. Of note though is that she is missing the tip of her ring finger on her left hand. What could have caused this, and will this be one of those decisions that we as the player have to horrifically make?

Next is the new character she is standing with. Who's name I can tell you is Javier. He WILL be playable. But will his arc be anywhere near as emotional or even remotely comparable to that of Lee? Also what are his motivations and where does he come from? This is a huge question because if you look at his neck, he has a very distinct tattoo or marking shown, that also happens to be on the back of the walker shown in the beginning.

I cannot wait to get my hands on this title. My only concern is how will they handle the save zapping system, especially for those of us who have moved to another platform? I would love to retain all of my choices that I have made thus far through Season 1, 400 days, Season 2, and Michonne. I do hope more is revealed about this as the fall release of this titles gets closer.
