In a surprise move, during the Microsoft E3 conference, Namco Bandai revealed that Tekken 7 would be coming to XBOXOne and PC, and would NOT be PS4 exclusive as it was previously thought to be. This is nothing but good news for the competitive life of the game and creating a larger player base. The only problem that I forsee is that it was revealed that the game would not be releasing until "Early 2017", which can be seen as a slap in the face of all of the faithful who have been waiting the nearly 5 years since Tekken Tag Tournament 2. It's then made doubly bad considering that here in the United States, we have very limited (read nearly NO) access to the arcade version of the game. So when it comes to larger tournament play, we will no doubt be way behind Asian countries who are able to play the game regularly.

No new characters were shown in the E3 stage demo, but it was revealed there will be a story mode which would take place during gameplay and will seamlessly transition during fight via Quick Time Events, or QTE.

Hopefully more information will be revealed either at the Sony conference tonight or in the coming weeks. Stay tuned because I will definitely be following this one.
