Another of the pleasant surprises we got from Sony's E3 2016 conference was a new look at Quantic Dream's Detroit: Become Human, the latest project from David Cage. What's interesting about this particular trailer is that it follows a completely different character than the previous trailer that was released 7 months ago at Paris Games Show. The previous trailer followed the character Kara, who was also featured in the tech demo for the PS4 a few years ago. And at the end of that trailer, Kara says the same thing that Connor says at the end of this trailer. She introduced herself and says "This is OUR story". This has seemingly created a bit of confusion among the fanbase, but I personally don's see anything wrong here.

I think that what we have will be another character narrative, where you will play multiple characters, likely all these androids, as they deal with their own personal conflicts with their programming. And following in line with Quantic Dream's title Heavy Rain, and as evidenced by the trailer above, your decisions will dictate how much of that narrative you are able to uncover. Relationships can be formed, clues can be missed, and characters can permanently die based upon what YOU choose as the player.

As someone who's enjoyed all of the Quantic Dream games, other than the fact that there is seemingly ALWAYS a supernatural twist somehow thrown in, this one has my attention.

What do you think of this title? Has it piqued your interest? Feel free to sound off in the comments.
